If you have one, a laptop. If not we have machines that you can use. If you do not have a laptop please try to bring a USB memory stick to save your work on! You MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 14! (Very important). Your parent/guardian must stay with you during the session. We accept new coders all the time, so if you want to start just get a ticket below! Please note it is currently first come first served. You must be aged between 10-16. You must have an interest in computers and how to program them even if you havent done this before. We require a parent or guardian to accompany and stay with under 14s. For those who havent been before you will be taken through 5 week induction which consists of classroom based lessons on Gamemaker and AppInventor. For those who have already completed the 5 week induction (or attended 5 weeks of CoderDojo Belfast before) you can follow along with various tutorials in technologies such as: Assistance with the tutorials will be provided by the mentors. If you are already working on a project (in any technology) come along to see if we can be of assistance! Please books tickets in the kids name. This is very important for tracking kids progress and awarding awards. There is no on street parking.
